About The Event
An easy-going event with a moderate walk where you can meet other people who enjoy wandering our countryside with their furry companions! With all profits made going straight to Greyhound Gap!
All photographic abilities welcome from beginners who would like some advice to seasoned pros who just want to get out and shoot- the prerogative here is to enjoy our green and pleasant land, camera in hand!
I will be on hand to give quick tips on photography and the area, as well as ideas and inspiration for what to shoot and look out for.
I will also be able to give some advice on getting great shots of your fur-babies...
-This is a steady-paced walk but there are a few quite steep sections up on to the ridge and some uneven ground/muddy areas so a moderate amount of fitness and and steadiness on-foot are recommended (especially if you need to control a big brace of hounds!).
-Places are just £5 per human and £1 per dog. All places must be booked in advance via the website to ensure against overbooking.
-Remember that all proceeds go directly to greyhound gap, 'Grant Harper Photography' will not be taking any cut from this event!
-The walk starts at 1pm.
-The total distance is approximately 4 miles and will take around 2hrs
-The car parking can get very busy so please arrive early if possible to get a space, and DO NOT park on the grass verges/anywhere that isn't a proper space: wardens do patrol the area and will issue tickets.
IMPORTANT: this event will be taking place during lambing season and as such, all dogs MUST be kept under control and on lead at all times.
By booking on to this event, you agree that you attend this event at your own risk, and that Grant Harper, Greyhound Gap nor Staffordshire Wildlife Trust claim any responsibilty for damage to personal/photographic equipment or personal injury sustained whilst on this walk.
Furthermore, you alone are responsible for your behaviour, and that of your dogs whilst attending this event.
All proceeds go straight to Greyhound Gap!
